I love the Almond shade. It blended in my few greys beautifully showing them more as highlights. I had multiple comments how lovely and shiny my hair is.

Ok, I was skeptical but really wanted a better way to cover greys without using a box-dye every 3-4 weeks as it was starting to irritate my scalp. I have naturally dark brown hair and went with a mix 1/3 blueberry / 2/3 roasted coffee. The precess is interesting - I embarked on this experiment with a friend and we applied the mud to each other's hair. I think this is crucial for even coverage, especially if your hair is long and/or thick. The mud smells bad, there is no way to soften that - it is very earthy and strong. The colour I achieved is great, I am so happy with it. It does have bold red undertones, so I'm glad I used the cooler blueberry in the mix to temper that. I can't speak to longevity of the colour yet, but none of it washed out after the first wash. I am super hopeful that I have found my "forever" solution to unwanted greys. If you are on the fence I say try this product!

Amazing natural product. I applied the detox for about two hours and my hair was soft, shiny and flowy after I washed it and dried it.
It's an amazing detox treatment that it's made with natural ingredients, doesn't smell weird and it didn't burn at all.

I will go back and use this over and over again. Knowing it is all natural, and so effective covering my greys. One pack goes along way, worth the money.

I’m so happy I discovered this product! I’m a brunette and have been trying to find a solution for my sporadic grey hairs for years. Recently they’ve become more noticeable, and I didn’t want to increase the amount of times I coloured my hair using conventional dyes just so stay on top of it. I’m not ready to let my greys fully grow out as I’ve only just turned 40. Previously I had my hair bleached and highlighted at the salon to try to conceal it, but it didn’t suit me and made me look older. I’ve also tried the more “natural” packet dyes, but I always got an itchy scalp. I’ve tried other henna based products previously and they never felt or looked as premium at Recipe Botanica. The customer service is incredible. I was confused about what shades to buy but Christina has been so helpful and supportive. I’m really happy with the result and can’t wait to do another application! Was surprisingly easy and I even forgot to buy a shower cap!

I really like this product. It gives a natural looking tint. I’ve been home dying my hair for a long time and wondering what to do about growing out the greys. This is a great solution.

All I can say is AMAZING! I’ve been coloring my hair for 6 years now trying to get back to my red when I was younger and I finally did it! My hair has always turned burgundy even when I colored it strawberry blonde but not now. It looks so beautiful. I love it. It’s shiny, vibrant, and feels so good. THANK YOU!!
