1 COMBINE THE POWDER
To mix the powder effectively, combine it with hot water using three times the volume of water as the powder. Here are the recommended ratios for different hair lengths:
- For root-to-mid-length application, mix 100g of powder with 300g of water.
- For mid-length to full-length application, mix 150g of powder with 450g of water.
- For long hair and full-length application, mix 200g of powder with 600g of water.
Use a whisk to blend until the mixture resembles thick yogurt. To achieve the ideal result, we recommend using water a 60 degrees.
2 APPLY
Apply Rēcipe Botanica treatment mix to dry, brushed hair using your hands or a colour brush. To enhance application, it is recommended to divide your hair into sections to ensure complete saturation. Ensure every strand is fully covered with the mud for the best result, starting by the roots and working your way down as needed. If necessary, feel free to mix more product; a denser application provides superior outcomes with herbal treatments.
3 RELAX
Cover your hair with a shower cap and unwind as the plants work their wonders. We recommend leaving the treatment from 30 to 60 minutes. Feel free to try different timings and make adjustments accordingly. The longer the treatment stays on your hair, the more goodness your hair and scalp will absorb. Since our treatments are completely chemical-free, you can keep them on several hours if they will comfortable on your scalp.
4 RINSE OFF & WASH
After the processing time, rinse your hair with warm water and proceed with shampooing. Apply conditioner and comb through it using a large comb or brush to remove any plant residues completely. Finally, style your hair using desired products.

I’m so happy I discovered this product! I’m a brunette and have been trying to find a solution for my sporadic grey hairs for years. Recently they’ve become more noticeable, and I didn’t want to increase the amount of times I coloured my hair using conventional dyes just so stay on top of it. I’m not ready to let my greys fully grow out as I’ve only just turned 40. Previously I had my hair bleached and highlighted at the salon to try to conceal it, but it didn’t suit me and made me look older.
